8.5.2.3 Adjusting Range

Adjust the range of the target on the screen so that it is properly displayed.

Procedures

1. Find a target whose range is known on the PPI screen.

2. Press the

SUB

key to open the SUB MENU.

3. Press the

key twice to open the INIT SET #2 menu.

4. Press the

key to select "RANGE ADJUSTMENT".

5. Press the

ENT

key to clear the menu and display the radar screen.

“Adjusting RANGE” will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.

6. Press the minus (-) side of the

RANGE

key or plus (+) side of the

RANGE

key to adjust the range and press the

ENT

key.

7. If the range does not completely match, repeat procedure 3 and after.
