Specifying JPEG compression default
This sets the compression rate used when performing color scanning with the JPEG file
format.

Press [Setting] on My MFP Menu screen.
If My MFP Menu screen is not displayed, press <Mode> repeatedly until My MFP menu
screen is displayed.

Press [Default Setting].

Press [Scanner Settings].

Press [Other Settings].

Press [JPEG Compression].

Select the default value, and press [Enter].
Low :
Normal :
High :
Decreases the compression rate. This option reduces image degradation, but the
data size will be larger.
Normal compression rate. This value is set at shipment.
Suppresses the data size and shortens the forwarding time, but increases the
level of image degradation.

Press [Close].
