 For example, “Fig A-4: Example of function monitor” below illustrates a monitoring of the state of input
SVON (Servo on). The example indicates that the number 1 is showing the input SVON is effective,
supposedly the input SVON is even a normally closed contact.

Example: Check if the input RUN (Start program) is inputted.
 Firstly, check if an input of the command is acceptable following the procedures below.
1) Connect the Handy Terminal to the connector CN1 of the Driver Unit. Then turn on the power
of the Driver Unit.
2) Confirm that the prompt “: (colon)” is on the display. (If the prompt is not on the display,
press the ENT key once.

1) Repeat monitoring the IO2.

The first line below the guide 5 represents the readout of the input RUN.
 The readout is applied the parameter AB (Input port polarity), and thus the readout will be 1 if the
input RUN is effective.
 An input of the BS key interrupts monitoring and the prompt “: (colon)” appears on the
display.
 The status of the input RUN can be individually monitored
