A12 Printer Maintenance
Print Roller Cleaning
To remove paper debris and other residue from the print roller, soak a cotton swab with alcohol and wipe across the roller surface.
Printhead Cleaning
Clean the printhead after using approximately 100 rolls of chart paper, or more often if needed. Use a cotton swab soaked in clean
isopropyl alcohol.
1. Turn the device OFF. Locate the printhead between the two brushes on the upper half of the printer.
2. Wipe the surface of the printhead clean with the alcohol-soaked cotton swab, allowing only the cotton tip of the swab to contact
the printhead.
Paper Sensor Cleaning
The paper sensor also requires periodic cleaning to prevent paper debris from blocking the infrared signals that reflect off the paper
during normal operation.
