Measurements with FLEXQ
Single
measurement
from the
FLEXQ sampler
tray
To make a single measurement, do the following:
Step Action
1.
Place the sampler in a slot on the tray. A short beep indicates that the
barcode has been accepted.
2.
The available measuring modes are shown; the selected mode is
highlighted. Change a measuring mode if desired.
Press Proceed.
3.
Enter, if required, additional patient data or mandatory data.
Press Accept to accept all the data (patient data, measuring mode,
selected parameters, layout, etc.).
4.
Remember to take the registration receipt printed out on the analyzer’s
printer.
Repeat steps 1-4 for another sampler.

The measurement starts. The patient name and the time left till the
result is ready are displayed on the Ready screen.
If further editing of the patient data has to be made, press the
button on the Ready screen to return to the Sample Registration
screen.
7.
When the result is ready, it will be automatically transmitted to its
destination (the RADIANCE system or LIS/HIS).
Batch
measurement
To make a batch measurement, do the following:
Step Action
1.
Make sure that a slot indicator is green and ready to accept a sampler.
2.
Place the sampler in an empty FLEXQ sampler tray slot. A short beep
indicates that the barcode has been accepted.
3.
Make sure that your sampler is ready for processing. If not, check
analyzer connection to FLEXLINK.
4.
Proceed with the next sampler in the same manner as described above.
