Preparing a control solution

Brief information is given below:
Item Description
Quantity
•
Each QC ampoule of QUALICHECK+ contains 2 mL
of QC solution.
•
Each QC ampoule of AutoCheck contains 0.7 mL of
QC solution.
Conditioning
before measure-
ment
Store the ampoules for five hours at 18-32 °C. Control
solutions are sensitive to light, so always keep the ampoule
box closed.
Open ampoule
stability
In order to ensure the reliability of the measurement, each
QC ampoule must be used immediately after opening, for
one measurement on one analyzer only.

Before measure-
ment on

Do the following:
Step Action
1.
Holding the ampoule between two fingers as shown,
shake it vigorously for at least 15 seconds.
2.
Tap the top of the ampoule until all of the solution collects at the
bottom.
