Confirming the Connection

Connecting to the IEEE 1394

Interface

Important

❒ Before making the connection,

touch the metallic part to ground

yourself.

Note

❒ Use the interface cable supplied

with the IEEE 1394 interface board

(optional).

❒ Make sure the interface cable is not

looped.

Connect the IEEE 1394 interface

cable to the IEEE 1394 ports.

Note

❒ Two interface ports are availa-

ble for connecting the IEEE 1394

interface cable. Either is suita-

ble.

Note

❒ Select [802.11 Ad hoc] when con-

necting Windows XP as a wireless

LAN client using Windows XP

standard driver or utilities, or

when not using the infrastructure
