When you send the output data, "FILLING" or "CLEANING" may be displayed on the screen. These indicate the preparaon
operaons performed before output. Output will begin aer the me displayed on the screen elapses.
IMPORTANT
Output Is Not Possible in These Situaons
The machine does not run when a cover (front, le, right, or ink slot) is open.
Data from the computer is not accepted when [SETUP] is dark.
Prinng does not start unl [HEATER] lights. However, in the following cases prinng is possible even if [HEATER] is not lit.
The sengs for "PRINT" (print heater) and "DRYER" are "OFF".
P. 153Seng the Print Heater Temperature
P. 154Seng the Dryer Temperature
Heater sengs "POWER" is "OFF."
P. 160Switching O the Print Heater and Dryer Together
Data from the computer is not accepted when you are not at the top menu.
Points that must be observed
Never open a cover (front, le, or right) while output is in progress. Doing so interrupts prinng.
When you are performing prinng, clamp the edges of the media with the media clamps. Otherwise, the edges of the media
may warp and catch on the print heads.
During output, do not touch the media. Doing so may obstruct the media feed or cause the media to rub against the print
heads, which may result in a paper jam or damage to the heads.
Keep the loading lever raised when the machine is not in use.
When not using the machine, remove any media and store it in a suitable environment.
If the machine is le with the media loaded, the media may be damaged, which may adversely aect prinng. When not
using the machine, remove any media and store it in a suitable environment.
