Procedure
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

When the screen shown below appears, remove the drain bole and discard the discharged uid.

IMPORTANT
When you remove the drain bole, a few drops of discharged uid may come out of the machine. Exercise cauon to prevent
this uid from soiling your hands or the oor.
CAUTION
Before you detach the drain bole, be sure to wait for the screen to display "EMPTY
DRAIN BOTTLE." Aer discarding the discharged uid, promptly aach the drain bot-
tle to the machine.
Failing to follow this procedure may cause discharged uid to ow out of the tube and spill, soiling
your hands or the oor.
WARNING
Never place discharged uid or ink near an open ame.
Doing so may cause re.
CAUTION
To store discharged uid temporarily, place it in the included drain bole or in a du-
rable sealed container such as a metal can or polyethylene tank, and cap the con-
tainer ghtly.
Any spillage or vapor leakage may cause re, odor, or physical distress.
IMPORTANT
Dispose of discharged uid properly, in accordance with the laws in eect in your locale.
Discharged uid is ammable and contains toxic ingredients. Never aempt to incinerate discharged uid or discard it with
ordinary trash. Also, do not dispose of it in sewer systems, rivers, or streams. Doing so may have an adverse impact on the
environment.
7. Quickly aach the emped drain bole to the machine once more.
8. Press [ENTER].

9. Turn o the main power switch.
10. Remove the drain bole and discard the discharged uid.
