Making Sure to Verify the Seng for the Amount Remaining Every Time the Media Is
Changed
Set the machine to display the amount of media remaining every me the media is changed.
Seng this menu item to "ENABLE" can keep you from forgeng to redo the seng when you change the media.
However, be sure to also set the [EDGE DETECTION] menu item to "ENABLE" (Using Transparent Media(P. 146)). When
[EDGE DETECTION] is set to "DISABLE", [SHEET REMAIN] is not displayed automacally.
Procedure
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

3. Press [▶], then [▲] to display the screen shown below.

4. Press [▶] to display the screen shown below.

DISABLE DISABLE
5. Press [▲] or [▼] to select "ENABLE".

DISABLE ENABLE
6. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.
If you select "ENABLE", you must set the [EDGE DETECTION] menu to "ENABLE".
7. Press [MENU] to go back to the original screen.
