Is the media loaded and set up straight and securely?
Feeding is not smooth when the media is not straight or is tensioned unevenly on the le and right. Reload the
media.

Was loaded media allowed to stand for some me?
Media may shrink or wrinkle if it is heated for an extended me. When prinng ends, switch o the sub power
and remove the media.
Are the media clamps aached?
When you are performing prinng, be sure to aach the media clamps.
Was the media loaded while the print heater was hot?
Loading media aer the print heater has warmed up causes the temperature of the media to rise suddenly, which
may cause the media to shrink or wrinkle during prinng. Before loading media, switch o the sub power and
allow the platen to cool.

Are the media heang system temperatures too high?
Set the temperatures to suitable values for the type of media.

Is the temperature of the room too low?
The media heang system may not warm up suciently when the ambient temperature is less than 20°C (68°F).
Also, even when the media heang system reaches its set temperatures, adequate eecveness may not be appa-
rent if the media is thoroughly chilled. Before prinng, allow the media to come to room temperature.
Is the humidity of the room too high?
Use the machine in an environment with a humidity of 35 to 80%RH (no condensaon).
Is the media sagging? If sagging media is used, it may come out wrinkled.
