Using Media That Wrinkles Easily/Does Not Move Smoothly
The platen uses sucon to grip the media and keep it stable. The sucon force can be adjusted corresponding to
the nature and condion of the media.
Procedure
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [] several mes to display the screen shown below.

3. Press [] once, and then press [] several mes to display the screen shown below.

4. Press [] to display the screen shown below.

AUTO AUTO
5. Press [] or [] to select a value.
0 to 100% When the media is imsy and cannot move smoothly, decreasing this value (reducing the sucon force) may correct the
problem.
AUTO The sucon force is automacally adjusted to the opmal level for the media width
6. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.
7. Press [MENU] to go back to the original screen.

Default seng: "AUTO"
Depending on the soware RIP you are using, you can also make this seng in the soware RIP. When you have made the
seng in the soware RIP, the machine's seng is ignored.
