Step 2: Adjusng Cung
For high-quality cung, we recommend carrying out a cung test to check the cung quality for the media be-
fore you perform actual cung. Adjust the blade force depending on the cung quality.
Procedure
1. Close the front cover.
2. Press [◀] while the following screen is displayed.
The cung carriage comes out over the platen.

3. Press [◀], [▶], [▲], or [▼] to move the cung carriage to the locaon where you want to carry out the cung test.
You can freely set the locaon for the cung test.
4. Press [FUNCTION].
5. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

7. Press [ENTER].
The test paern is cut.
8. Press [▼] to display the screen shown below.

10. Peel o the cut shapes to verify the cung quality.
• Two shapes are peeled o separately
You do not need to perform the seng because the blade force is appropriate.
• Two shapes are peeled o together/backing paper is also cut
Proceed to the next step to set the blade force.
11. Press [▲] or [▼] to select a value.

Raise the blade force.
• Backing paper is also cut
