Replacing the Blade
1. Replace the blade.
If the blade becomes dull, if the edge of the blade is chipped, or if the cung quality is lowered, replace the blade
with a new blade.
CAUTION
Be sure to perform operaons as specied by the instrucons, and never touch any area
not specied in the instrucons.
Otherwise sudden movement of the machine may cause injury.
CAUTION
Never touch the p of the blade.
Doing so may result in injury.
Required items
Replacement blade
Procedure
1. Remove any media.
2. Press [MENU].
3. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

4. Press [▶] once, and then press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

5. Press [▶] once, and then press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

REPLACE KNIFE
6. Press [ENTER].
The cung carriage moves to a posion where blade replacement is possible.
7. When the following screen is displayed, open the front cover.
OPEN FRONT
COVER
Preparaon is complete once the following screen is displayed.
FINISHED?
8. Detach the blade holder.
