Correcng the Misalignment of the Prinng and Cung Posions during Cung
This method pauses a cung operaon to correct the misalignment of the prinng and cung posions. The
correcon values set here are applied as the default values of the prinng and cung posions.
If the prinng and cung posions are misaligned, you normally adjust the posions while checking a test pat-
tern.

Procedure
1. During cung, press [PAUSE] to display the screen shown below.

The cung operaon is paused.
2. Press [FUNCTION].
3. Press [] several mes to display the screen shown below.

4. Press [] once, and then press [] several mes to display the screen shown below.

5. Press [].
6. Determine the correcon values.

Determine the values so as to correct the misalignment of the cung posion (
) in relaon to the prinng posion ( ). In
the case of the following gure, feed direcon "F" is misaligned in a negave direcon and scan direcon "S" in a posive
direcon. Therefore, set the correcon values for the feed direcon "F" to posive values and the scan direcon "S" to negave
values. Measure the actual misalignment amount when determining the value.

7. Set the correcon values for the feed direcon "F" and the scan direcon "S."
(1) Press [] or [] to set the correcon value for the feed direcon (F).
F:+0.30 +0.35mm
S:-0.40 -0.45mm
(2) Press [] or [] to set the correcon value for the scan direcon (S).
F:+0.30 +0.35mm
S:-0.40 -0.45mm
(3) When you have nished seng the correcon values, press [ENTER].
8. Press [PAUSE] to display the screen shown below.
