Using Transparent Media

You can set up transparent media by disabling detecon of the leading and trailing edges of the media.

Normally, detecng the leading and trailing edges of the media enables you to verify the presence of the media,

and the media is then ready for setup. However, since transparent media cannot be detected, setup will not be

possible.

Procedure

1. Press [MENU].

2. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

4. Press [▶] to display the screen shown below.

5. Press [▲] or [▼] to select "DISABLE".

6. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.

7. Press [MENU] to go back to the original screen.

MEMO

• Default seng: "ENABLE"

• When set to "DISABLE", prinng operaon does not stop when the media runs out. If media runs out while prinng is in

progress, immediately press [PAUSE] to stop prinng. Otherwise, there is a chance that the platen or other parts may be-

come soiled by ink or that ink may get inside and damage the machine.
