Is the LAN roung appropriate?
Check whether or not the network roung is appropriate. Try connecng the computer and the machine to the
same hub or connecng them directly using a cable. If this makes it possible to perform output, it means the prob-
lem may be in the network itself.
Are the LAN sengs correct?
If the cable connecons are secure and no problem is found in the network itself, make sure that the IP address
and other such sengs are appropriate. The sengs on both the machine and the computer must be appropriate.
Redo the sengs, checking to ensure that the IP address does not conict with the IP address for another device
on the network, that the port seng for the soware RIP species the IP address set on the machine, that the
sengs have no typing errors, and for other such problems.

Has the ink run out?
When the screen shown in the gure is displayed, output data cannot be accepted. The error can be resolved by
replacing the ink pouch with a new one. If there is data that has not yet been output remaining in the machine,
output resumes. If there is unsent data in the computer, output resumes when the data is resent.
