The opmal temperature for the media heang system varies according to such factors as the type of media and
the sengs of the soware RIP.
Relaonship between the quality sengs of the soware RIP and temperature
If smudging or poor drying occur even aer raising the temperature, try seng the prinng quality of the soware
RIP to higher image quality. Conversely, if you want to use a faster print quality, raise the temperature.
Amount of ink
When you change the amount of ink using the sengs for your soware RIP, adjusng this may yield beer re-
sults. If problems such as smudging persist even aer raising the temperature, try reducing the amount of ink.
Other points to remember
When recommended sengs for temperature, prinng quality, and other values are given for your media, use the
suggested sengs.
