Cleaning the Knife Carriage Roller
Paper dust axes to the separang knife carriage roller during media separaon. Periodically wipe the area clean.
WARNING
Never use a solvent such as gasoline, alcohol, or thinner to perform cleaning.
Doing so may cause re.
CAUTION
Before aempng cleaning, switch o the sub power and wait unl the heater and dryer
cool (approximately 30 minutes).
Sudden movement of the machine may cause injury, or hot components may cause burns.
IMPORTANT
• This machine is a precision device and is sensive to dust and dirt. Perform cleaning on a daily basis.
• Never aempt to oil or lubricate the machine.
Clean by wiping with a cloth moistened by neutral detergent diluted with water then wrung dry.
