Currency Conversion
If you normally accept currency from a neighboring nation, you can program the SAM4s ER-
900 to convert the subtotal of a sale to the equivalent cost in the foreign currency. Four
foreign currency conversion keys are available. See "Function Key Assignment
Programming" on page 99 to place currency conversion keys on the keyboard. You also need
to program the conversion factor. For example, if the US dollar (home currency) is worth
1.3720 Canadian dollars (foreign currency), the conversion factor is 1.3720. See
"Instructions for Currency Conversion Rate - Program 90" on page 156 to set a conversion
rate.
Note: The change due is computed in home currency!
