When using the PCD7.F180 connection module, the supply voltage to the PC control unit
must be at least 24 VDC, ±5 % (not the default tolerance of ±20 %).
With a separate DC or AC supply to the drives, it is especially important to ensure that the
Saia PCD
®
control unit is connected to the earth (Minus pole) of the drive supply. The earth
serves as a common base for communication.
