Chapter 5:
Display Panel Messages
One of the key features of the OpScan 4ES and
iNSIGHT 4ES scanners is the integrated diagnostics
system. During operation, the scanner performs
numerous checks to ensure that the scanner is
functioning properly. If the scanner detects an issue, a
message appears in the liquid crystal display (LCD)
panel.
In this chapter, all of the display panel messages are
listed in alphabetical order. For each display message,
you will find information regarding:
• What the message means
• How to resolve the issue
• What the buttons do
NOTE: Except for scanners with the SelfScore option,
the operator panel “blanks” if the scanner sits idle
