Required components
For this example, you need the following components:
● A higher-level controller (e.g. S7 series)
● The motor starter (motor starter module and communication module)
● Power supplies for the 24 V auxiliary voltage
● Connection material:
– PROFIBUS DP/PROFINET IO connection
– Electronics power supply 7/8"
– Power connection cable (X1)
– Motor connection cable (X2)
