Command Usage
• Note that a secure port has the following restrictions:
- It should not be connected to a network interconnection device.
- It cannot be configured as a member of a static trunk.
- It can be configured as an LACP trunk port, but the switch does not
allow the LACP trunk to be enabled.
• A port that is already configured as an LACP or static trunk port
cannot be enabled as a secure port.
• The default maximum number of MAC addresses allowed on a secure
port is zero. You must configure a maximum address count from 1 - 20
for the port to allow access.
Command Attributes
• Status – Enables or disables port security on the port.
(Default: disabled)
• Max MAC Count – Sets the maximum number of MAC addresses
that can be learned on a port when port security is enabled.
(Range: 0 - 20, Default: 0)
