8.6.8 Trickle Charge Function
Remove the trigger pulse from the black wire and observer the current drops back to a steady
reading of approximately 85mA with a fully charge battery.
8.6.9 Wideband Test
Use the 8063 Deck Test Unit (DTU), check the wideband reply mode can be made by following the
instructions in the DTU manual.
1. Switch OFF the bench PSU.
2. Disconnect the test cable from the transponder.
3. Fit the non-shorting dummy plug.
4. Switch the WSM6 OFF.
5. Complete the Test Result Sheet: Appendix C - Wideband Sub-Mini 6: .
