7.4.3.3 Sonardyne Tone
With NAV Scheme set to Sonardyne and the Reply Type set to Tone, the Interrogation and
Reply channels can be individually set to any Sonardyne MF channel using the drop down lists.
Select Set to program the new channels.

The acoustic transmission performance will only meet the specification if used in the range 26 –
32kHz i.e. if the reply channel is chosen from the list:
CRF, MF0, MF9, MF10, MF11, MF12, MF13, MF14
NOTE
At the end of each drop down list, the emergency AODC channels are available. Note
that operating on these frequencies will reduce the effective acoustic range of the unit.
