Pressure
Select to view the ink pressure setpoint (target ink pressure). The ink pressure setpoint
is specific to the ink being used and the Nozzle size.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: This setting is typically input in the
factory, based on customer needs, and generally should only be changed
by qualified personnel. If in doubt, contact your authorized Squid Ink
Distributor.
The JetStream automatically adjusts the ink pressure based on the setpoint. Ink
pressure is measured in kPa (kilopascals) rather than Psi (pounds per square inch).
The conversion formula from Psi to kPa is:
Psi x 6.89475729 = kPa
The conversion formula from kPa to Psi is:
kPa x 0.144503774 = Psi
The ink pressure range is 0–450. The default is dependent on ink type, but is typically
300.
If the Pressure settings have been changed by qualified personnel, select Save.
When finished viewing Pressure settings, select Close.
