Viscosity
Select to view the ink viscosity setpoint (target ink viscosity). The ink viscosity setpoint is
specific to the ink being used.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: This setting is typically input in the
factory, based on customer needs, and generally should only be changed
by qualified personnel. If in doubt, contact your authorized Squid Ink
Distributor.
The viscosity setpoint is the ideal thickness balance of ink and makeup fluid to produce
quality printing while minimizing equipment clogs. The JetStream measures and displays
the viscosity of the ink in the Mixing Tank every 3 minutes, and automatically adjusts ink
viscosity based on the setpoint.
The viscosity range is 30–100. The default is dependent on ink type, but is typically 55.
If the Viscosity settings have been changed by qualified personnel, select Save.
When finished viewing Viscosity settings, select Close.
