b. Under the Maintenance setting, select Drain Printer:
The JetStream will begin to pump ink from the Mixing Tank into the hazardous
liquids container. The Mixing Tank will take about 20 minutes to completely
empty.
Cleaning for Long-Term Shutdown
a. Use this option when the JetStream is going to be idle for 3 months or more,
or if it needs to be shipped or for preventative maintenance (see “Preparing
the JetStream for More than 3 Months Idle” on page 169).
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: This function should
generally only be activated by trained and qualified personnel. If
in doubt, contact your authorized Squid ink Distributor.
