For type A, B and C combination meter:
Information display switching knob
1) Right-hand drive models
2) Left-hand drive models
With the ignition switch in the ON
position, each press of the information
display switching knob toggles the display
in the following sequence.
For type D and E combination meter:
The fuel consumption indicator is linked
with the odometer/trip meter display on the
combination meter according to the follow-
ing chart.

The outside temperature indicator shows
the outside temperature in a range from
30 to 508C(22 to 1228F).
The indicator can give a false reading
under any of the following conditions.
. When there is too much sun.
. During idli ng; while ru nning at low
speeds in a traffic jam; when the engine
is restarted immediately following a shut-
down.
. When the actual outside temperature
falls outside the specified indicator range.
! Road surface freeze warning indi-
cation

When the outside temperature drops to
38C(378F) or lower, the temperature
indication flashes to show that the road
surface may be frozen.
If the display has already indicated an
outside temperature of 38C(378F) or
lower, the indication does not flash even
when the outside temperature drops to
38C (378F) or lower again, unless the
