Toggles the extended nuclide library.
Min time to ID
Allows the user to select a minimum time to complete a nuclide iden-
tification. This value can range from 10s to 300s and is only eective
after the minimum number of gamma counts have been obtained.
Note Since background radiation varies with the change in environments,
the user may need to adjust the Warn”, Alarm”, and “Sigma Alarm mini-
mum level settings to suitable thresholds accordingly. If the background ra-
diation changes are such that adjustments to the Sigma Alarm settings do not
prevent unwanted alarms, it may be disabled. s
4.12.2 Neutron Settings (Optional)
(This feature is disabled if there is no neutron detector installed within the
device):
Warn Level
Enter a value between 1 to 1000 cpm or 0.02 to 16.67 cps. This value
defines the absolute threshold for audible and visual warning events.
The factory default setting is 12 cpm.
Alarm Level
Enter a value between 1 to 1000 cpm or 0.02 to 16.67 cps. This value
defines the absolute threshold for audible and visual alarming events.
The factory default setting is 60 cpm.
Speaker
Turns the speaker for neutron events on or o.
Vibrator
Turns the vibrator for neutron events on or o.
