9. Remove four screws 6.
10.Remove screw 8.
11.Remove the screws on both sides 7 and take out the heater.
Injury hazard due to hot pipes/tubes/coolant
Hot pipes/tubes/coolant can cause injury of the skin.
► Never touch the internal components of the heating when the engine is
hot or if the cooling system is under pressure.
► Allow the heating system to cool.
► Wear protective equipment.
12.Disconnect strand M004 from connector 9.
13.Disconnect strand from connector 10.
14.Pull both strands out of the heater casing.
Use a suitable container to collect the coolant as it drains off and dispose
of it in an environmentally friendly manner!
15.Loosen hose clamps 11 and pull off the water hoses. If necessary,
carefully warm the hoses to make them easier to remove.
16.Turn the heater casing.
17.Press the fastening clip together and pull it out of the casing in the
direction of the arrow.
