18.18 The CARDIObiphasic shock pulse
A characteristic of the CARDIObiphasic shock pulse is that it limits
the maximum current. This greatly reduces the risk of myocardial
damage, which is mainly caused by excessively high electric
currents, especially where patient impedance is low.
