SIGNAL SYSTEM CHECK
1.1f the horn fails to sound:
1.Horn switch
Refer
to "SWITCH INSPECTION".
~ CONTINUITY
2.Voltage
• Connect the pocket tester
(DC 20 V) to
the horn lead.
Tester
(+) lead -; Brown CD
Tester (-) lead -; Frame ground
• Turn the main switch to lION".
• Check the voltage (12 V) of the "Black!
White" lead at the horn terminal.
n MEETS
V SPECIFICATION
3.Voltage
• Connect
the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to
the horn at the "Pink" terminal.
Tester
(+) lead -; Pink lead <D
Tester (-) lead -7 Frame ground
• Turn the main switch to "ON".
• Check the voltage (12 V) of the IIPink"
lead at
the horn terminal.
n MEETS
V SPECIFICATION
IAdjust or replace the horn.
SIGNAL SYSTEM I ELEC I0 I
NO CONTINUITY
IReplace the handlebar switch (left).
OUT OF SPECIFICATION

The wiring circuit from the main switch to
the horn terminal is faulty, repair it.

IReplace the horn.
