WARNING! The connection of motor temperature sensor requires double or
reinforced insulation between motor live parts and the sensor because the
thermistor input on the JCU control unit is not insulated according to
IEC 60664.
If the assembly does not fulfill the requirement,
- protect the I/O board terminals against contact and make sure that it is not
connected to any other equipments
or
- isolate the temperature sensor from the I/O terminals.
The figure below shows a motor temperature measurement when thermistor input TH
is used.
