74 Electrical installation
Keep any signal wire pairs twisted as close to the terminals as possible. Twisting the
wire with its return wire reduces disturbances caused by inductive coupling.
Installing the optional modules
Options such as fieldbus adapters, I/O extensions and encoder interfaces are
inserted into slots on the JCU control unit. For the available slots, see the Main circuit
diagram on page 30 and the Control interfaces diagram on page 32. For specific
installation and wiring instructions, see the appropriate option manual.
