Network element field
This IP address is the local IP address of the NE.
•TMN RF field
Select a check box to obtain access to the NE in the remote radio station.
TMN RF can be set up over PPP protocol or through an In-Band management (to
inter-operate with NEs that do not support PPP).
1. For the TMN RF over PPP, tick the “TMN RF PPP” (as shown in Figure 4.101)
2. For the In-band management, tick the “TMN RF In-Band”. Then configure the
IP address, the network mask and the VLAN ID [range 2..4080] allocated to the
TMN RF in-band interface. This IP address and the remote NE TMN RF In-
band IP address must be in the same subnet.
Warning: The change of this address will close the connection with the MCT and cause a
traffic impact.
