Background set for a single output Screen
1. In Preconfig > Backgrounds, select BS1 in Screen 1.
2. If using an Eikos 4K, click a source icon to open the Inputs or Background Images sources. For other
models, the Background Images sources are displayed by default.
3. Drag a content and drop it in the virtual canvas or in Output 1.
Background set 1 is set and saved.
Repeat the procedure with BS2, BS3, etc. to create more Background Sets for Screen 1.
Repeat the procedure for Screen 2 if the device is in Matrix mode.
Tip: In Matrix mode, Screen 1 and Screen 2 both have up to 8 Background Sets.
Background set for an Eikos 4K in Edge-blending mode
The Eikos 4K in Edge blending mode has two possible modes for each Background set:
- An Input will be upscaled or cropped to fit the Screen if needed.
- A Background image will fit the Screen according to the Aspect set for this Background
Two inputs mode. (No Background image)
Keep the resolution of the Inputs and align them in any of the nine possible positions.
- It is possible to assign a different input to each Screen output.
Note: - It is not possible to use Background images in Custom mode.
- Using the same Input content in both outputs of the Screen in Custom mode will duplicate the content. Use Auto Crop mode to spread
the Input content on both outputs.
1. In Preconfig > Backgrounds, select BS1 in Screen 1.
2. Select the mode for this Background set.
3. Click a source icon to open the Inputs or Background Images sources.
4. Drag a content and drop it to each output in the virtual canvas or in the output cards.
5. In custom mode, use the virtual canvas to place the content.
Background set 1 is set and saved.
6. If needed, go to Images to set the Aspect of the Background images.
Repeat the procedure with BS2, BS3, etc. to create more Background Sets.
Reset a background set
1. In Preconfig > Backgrounds, select a Background Set.
2. Click in the top right corner of the virtual canvas to clear the background set.
Tip: It is also possible to select each output and press the Del key to remove the assigned content one by one.
