This covers the 1400 Series and 9500 Series phones supported by the IP Office Basic Edition system.

All these phones can be used for programming except the 1403. The phones enter the various programming modes
through admin menus displayed on the phone. These menus are accessed by pressing the Admin display soft key.
The menus are dynamically adjusted depend on whether the phone is connected to one of the first two extensions or not.
To access the administration menus during a call, you may need to press the PHONE button to display the Admin
soft key option. If you access phone administration during a call, only the SPEAKER, MUTE and HEADSET
buttons still affect the connected call.
To exit administration, press the PHONE button.
