10.5. Cleaning & Maintenance
Inside the Laser Box
The customer is not allowed to perform any Maintenance and/or Cleaning actions inside the laser box.
If any maintenance or cleaning should be necessary inside the laser box, this must be done by qualifi ed
maintenance engineers of BESTnv or by trained technicians with the explicit written permission of
BESTnv.
10.5.1. Scan Shielding and Laser window
Attention! - Always lower box and clean the laser window after the cleaning of the rest
of the sorter unit has been fi nished. This to prevent getting dirt or water on the
laser window after it has been cleaned.
1. Lower the Laser box (see pictures underneath).
- Loosen handles on both sides of the laser box.
- Lower the laser box gently until it is +/- horizontal.
2. Check the Scan Shielding and clean it out if necessary:
- Remove all dirt from the inside with compressed air (if necessary)
