boot config-file
boot config-file
Use the boot config-file global configuration command to specify the filename that the software uses to
read and write a nonvolatile copy of the system configuration. Use the no form of this command to return
to the default setting.
boot config-file flash:/file-url
no boot config-file
This command is available only on Catalyst 2950 Long-Reach Ethernet (LRE) switches.
Syntax Description
Defaults The default configuration file is flash:config.text.

Usage Guidelines Filenames and directory names are case sensitive.
This command changes the setting of the CONFIG_FILE environment variable. For more information,
see Appendix B, “Catalyst 2950 and 2955 Switch Boot Loader Commands.”
