show fcs-threshold
show fcs-threshold
Use the show fcs-threshold user EXEC command to display the frame check sequence (FCS) bit error
rate settings on the switch interfaces.
show fcs-threshold [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression]
Syntax Description
Command Modes User EXEC
Command History
Usage Guidelines The Ethernet standard calls for a maximum bit error rate of 10
-8
. In the Catalyst 2955 switch, the bit error
rate configurable range is from 10
-6
to 10
-11
. The bit error rate input to the switch is a positive exponent.
The output displays the positive exponent; an output of 9 indicates that the bit error rate is 10
-9
.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear.
Examples This is an example of output from the show fcs-threshold command. It shows the output when all ports
are set to the default FCS threshold.
