Using cycle mode
Cycle mode can be used to select the desired action via a digital key, without pressing buttons or entering
codes.
The cycle actions set as default are:
• Action 1: Full activation
• Action 2: Scenario P1
• Action 3: Scenario P2
• Action 4: Scenario P1+P2
IMPORTANT: The actions associated with the cycle can be changed by the installer during system
programming.
To enter cycle mode hold the key over the sensing area for at least two seconds. The reader beeps
once when it detects the key; after the key has been held in the sensing area for at least two seconds
it will beep a second time. At this point remove the key; the following screen will appear on the display:
The actions associated with the cycle mode are shown in sequence on the second line, to allow
selection of the desired option. To select the desired action simply position the key back in the reading
zone when that action appears. The keypad will show the confirmation screen when the action has
been executed.
Example: if you want to perform a Partial 1 activation you need to wait for the screen:
During the cycle, the keypad indicates a change of action - available for selection and shown on the second
line - with a beep.
Alarm lock in progress
There are two ways to lock an alarm in progress:
A. Deactivate the system (with the system activated)
B. Send the ‘Stop alarms’ command
To send a ‘Stop alarms’ command, you can use the RFID key by passing it over the sensing area, or you
can follow the keypad procedures described previously.
Keys not valid
For invalid keys, the situation is the same as when incorrect codes are entered on the keypad.
If an invalid key is detected, the following message is displayed:
If an invalid key is detected 3 times, the keypad will be locked for two minutes.
IMPORTANT: the "key not valid" keypad lock can be disabled, plus the number of attempts and the
lock time can also be changed by the installer during programming.
