Glossary
Area: This is a group of zones allowing the system to be divided into independent subsystems, each controlled
with its own times, codes, keys, etc.
Zone: The Alarm zone is a single wired input, to which a single environmental control device generally belongs.
Partial exclusion: Exclusion of a group of zones when the system is activated. This creates a non-covered part,
in which you can move around without causing an alarm, even when the system is activated.
Tamper: a mechanism which protects against the opening of devices (control unit, siren and sensors) by
activating a 24-hour alarm in the event of tampering.
Chime: a long note emitted by the keypad which can be enabled at the user's discretion to indicate - when the
system is disabled - that someone has entered a specific zone. The "Chime" tone can be used, for example, to
indicate a customer entering a shop.
Fault indication: the system is capable of monitoring all faults or malfunctions (of the system or individual
zones), so as to provide an efficient assistance and maintenance service.
Entrance/Exit delay time: the system sets an entrance/exit delay time which allows the user to complete
the necessary deactivation/activation steps without the alarm being activated.
User code: a six-digit code which allows the user to operate the system and send commands.
Events Memory: a list of the events which occur in the system can be displayed on the LCD keypad or received
by the technician via the configuration software.
Quick activation: can be used to ACTIVATE the system quickly, without entering the user code.
Not ready for activation: there are situations preventing activation without forcing, such as open zones or the
presence of faults/tampering.
