International Modem Adapter Requirements
If you purchased the computer in North America, Latin America,
Japan, or Hong Kong, the modem cable included with the
computer can be used only in those locations.
For travel outside those locations, you need to purchase the
International Modem Adapter, part number 248075-001, and the
required country-specific modem cable (part numbers are listed
earlier in this chapter).
The International Modem Adapter is not necessary for computers
purchased outside of those locations.
For more information, contact your Compaq authorized dealer,
reseller, or service provider.
NOTE:
You do not need to turn the computer on or place it in
Suspend to connect the modem.
