Inserting a CD-ROM Drive into the MultiBay
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the computer and CD-ROM drive
and loss of information, turn off the computer before inserting a CD-
ROM drive into the MultiBay. Do not insert the CD-ROM drive while
the computer is turned on, in Suspend, or in Hibernation.
Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Before
touching the CD-ROM drive, ensure that you are discharged of
static electricity by touching a grounded metal object.
1 Turn off the computer.
2 Position the CD-ROM drive, with the label facing up, against
the left side of the MultiBay.
3 Slide the CD-ROM drive into the MultiBay until it locks into
place.
