Suspend Overview
Suspend is a condition in which the computer uses a low amount
of power by shutting down most of the subsystems. Suspend can
be user-initiated or system-initiated (if a Suspend timeout has been
set).
When you initiate Suspend, system information is saved in
random access memory (RAM).
