Diskette drive cannot write to a diskette
Possible Cause
Diskette is not formatted.
Solution
Format the diskette.
If you are using Windows 95:
1 From the Windows 95 desktop, double-click My Computer.
2 Click 3 ½ Floppy (A)

Format.
3 Fill in the appropriate information, then click Start.
If you are using Windows NT, format the diskette by entering
format a:
at the system prompt.
Possible Cause
Diskette is write-protected.
Solution
Use another diskette that is not write-protected or disable the
write-protect feature.
Possible Cause
Writing to the wrong drive.
Solution
Check the drive letter in your path statement.
Possible Cause
Not enough space is left on the diskette.
Solution
Save the information to another diskette.
