ipv6address - Specifies the IPv6 address of the neighbor.
<ipv6addr> - Enter the IPv6 address
static - Specifies to display the IPv6 static neighbor cache entries.
dynamic - Specifies to display the IPv6 dynamic entries.
all - Specifies to display all IPv6 addresses, static and dynamic.
hardware - (Optional) Specifies to display all the neighbor cache entries which were written into
the hardware table.
Restrictions
None.
Example
To display all neighbor cache entries for the IP interface “System”:
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#show ipv6 neighbor_cache ipif System all
Command: show ipv6 neighbor_cache ipif System all
FE80::215:72FF:FE36:104 State: Reachable
MAC Address : 00-15-72-36-01-04 Port : 1:21

Description
This command is used to configure an IPv6 force aging address in the neighbor cache.
Format
config ipv6 neighbor_cache force_aging_addr [add | delete] <ipif_name 12> <ipv6addr>
Parameters
add - Specifies to add a new entry.
delete - Specifies to delete an existing entry.
<ipif_name 12> - Enter the IPv6 interface name here. This name can be up to 12 characters
long.
<ipv6addr> - Enter the neighbor’s IPv6 address here.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
This example shows how to add a force aging entry for IPv6 address 3FFC::1 on the IP interface
“System”.
