3 In the ACS Bus Assigns section, press the L–R (left and right)
or C/Mono (center/mono) switch so that it is lit.
4 Move the channel’s fader to set the Group output level.
Group Routing Indication on Output Encoders
When Groups are assigned to the Output encoders, the en-
coder indicator LEDs indicate Main bus assignments as fol-
lows:
Off Group routing to Mains is turned off.
Yellow Group output is routed to the Mains L–R bus.
Green Group output is routed to the Mains C/M bus.
Red Group output is routed to both the Mains L–R bus and the
Mains C/M bus.
Routing Group Busses
Group busses can be routed to hardware outputs, and to avail-
able bus-fed plug-ins. Group busses also provide Direct Outs,
inserts and built-in Graphic EQ capabilities.
Using Direct Outputs on Group Busses See “Direct Outputs” on
page 76.
Using Inserts on Group Busses You can insert D-Show soft-
ware plug-ins or hardware inserts on Group bus outputs. For
more information, see “Using Inserts on Output Busses” on
page 72.
Inserting the Built-In Graphic EQ on Group Bus Outputs A
built-in 31-band Graphic EQ can be inserted on Group bus
outputs. For more information, see “Inserting the Built-In
Graphic EQ on Output Busses” on page 73.

Viewing Group Bus Assignments
You can view Group bus assignments from the Input section
of the control surface or from an on-screen list of Group mem-
bers.
Viewing Group Bus Assignments from the Input
Section
The Bus Assign LEDs 1–8 on Input Channels and FX Return
channel strips light to indicate that a channel is routed to the
corresponding Group busses. The Stereo Pan LED lights when
at least one bus is being fed as a stereo-linked pair or in true
stereo.
Viewing Group Bus Assignments On-Screen
When a Group bus channel is targeted on-screen, its members
are shown in a list on the right side of the Outputs page.
